Provide technical direction to Test Operations personnel as necessary. · Analyze the test results, prepare a comprehensive written Test Report and/or review the test results with the Customer. Assure accuracy of the Test Report and compliance with all applicable industry standards and Customer requirements as described in the Quote, and Test Plans. · Assure that all written Test Reports strictly adhere to all requirements of the KEMA Labs Quality Management programs. · Maintain current working knowledge of applicable ANSI, IEEE, IEC, UL, and other standards for electrical/mechanical equipment. · As necessary, review Customer Quotes for technical requirements, facility adequacy, Test Operations skills requirements and provide information to the Sales Engineer for incorporation in the Quote. Contact the Customer as required, clarifying, or resolving discrepancies, open issues, questions, etc. Assure requirements are incorporated in the final Quote and advise the Head of HVL Milan. · Assist the Head of HVL Milan to develop new and improved test procedures, operations processes, training curricula, equipment, and test technologies, etc. · Other duties as assigned by the Head of HVL Milan.   As Test Engineer HVL, you will work under the direction of the Head of High-Voltage Lab (HVL) and will be responsible of the HVDC cable testing.   Here, you're not just a number. Keep reading!     What you will do As Monitoring Systems Specialist at ISMES S.p.A., your main responsibilities will include: • Installation, testing and maintenance of automatic monitoring systems (civil, environmental and dynamic) • Plant design with economic evaluation for the construction of monitoring systems • Drafting technical specifications for plant works and measurement sensors; • Definition and organization of activities for the implementation of the necessary plant works, documents relating to safety, subcontracting and bureaucratic practices in general; • Coordination of field activities for the construction of systems; • Testing and start-up of completed systems, training courses and final delivery to the customer; • Production of final documentation of the created system.   As Monitoring Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and execution of design, installation, testing and maintenance activities of monitoring systems for relevant structures such as dams, monuments and infrastructures and for the protection of the territory. Plus, we offer an open and informal work atmosphere.     What you bring Among all your other talents, your key skills are:     Experience & Knowledge - Bachelor's or master's degree engineer in the civil or plant engineering field (three-or five-year degree) - Experience in field activities and design for the creation of monitoring systems for the territory and/or structures and infrastructures (experience: min 2 years). - At least 2 years' experience in the design and construction of systems for the connection of sensors and data transmission - Experience of off-line electrical work - Aptitude for human relationships and communication skills with the customer and other construction site figures - Ability to work in a team; - Skills in industrial electronics (data acquisition systems, measurement transducers, digital communication systems, etc.) and/or in electrical and electromechanical systems (electrical systems, small mechanical and civil works, etc.) - Knowledge of the main IT supports such as AutoCad, Microsoft Office; - Training from designated team leader preferred - Good knowledge of English and a second language, preferably Spanish - Availability for frequent short and medium-term trips domestically and abroad - Suitability to work in confined places and/or at heights.     What you get At ISMES S.p.A., we don't just offer a job – we offer a chance to grow and develop in a dynamic environment that is an important part of the energy transition that we are in!
