What you will do

As a Test Engineer at KEMA Labs, your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparation, execution and follow-up of standard-compliant tests on high-voltage devices and systems at the customer's site, up to 400 kV.
• Tests for the verification of withstand stress with accompanying PD measurement as well as other tests according to customer specifications
• Continuous training in the areas of applicable standards
• Conceptual development of testing, control and measurement technology as well as test methods
• Creation and processing of schedules and rough calculations
• Design and conception of test aids as well as test and measurement setups
• Technical and organizational support in the bidding phase of an order
• Technical and organisational coordination with the customer in the run-up to and during the tests
• Technical customer support and preparation of test documentation

You will be responsible for tasks above and work closely with the onsite team.

What you bring

Among all your other talents, your key knowledge and experience is:

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering / High Voltage Engineering
• Extensive technical understanding, accuracy and analytical skills
• Willingness to take many business trips, even at short notice (Europe-wide)
• Willingness to perform as a minimum 150 days/year on-site, typically 3 days a week
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Good communication skills, social skills and initiative
• Organisational skills with a systematic, analytical and quality-oriented way of working
• Driving licence class C (preferrable)
