What you will do

As a Test Engineer FPG at KEMA Labs, your main responsibilities will include:

· Testing a variety of power electronics devices, such as EV chargers and distribution-level converters.

· Developing advanced Power Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and validation methods for power converters in renewable energy and clean aviation applications.

· Performing specific tests for transformers and meters (e.g., endurance and short-circuit tests). In general, you may work with any electrical application up to 1.5 MVA and 24 kV.


As a Test Engineer FPG, you will be responsible for further develop our existing and upcoming services in Power Cybernetics as for creating new or related services for KEMA Labs, work closely with colleagues/customer.

What you bring

Among all your other talents, your key knowledge and experience is:

· You have solid background in power electronics and distribution power systems.

· You have experience with real-time simulation platforms such as RTDS, Opal-RT or Typhoon HIL.

· You have excellent communication skills in English (written and verbally), mastery of the Dutch language is an advantage.
